I am currently splitting time between my new home in Texas and visiting California. Shawn Warcot's Texas Rose Tattoo Commission, in Hamilton, Texas, is now open. We are accepting walk-ins and taking appointments. I will be returning to California, To Empire Tattoo Studio, Riverside, every few months for a couple weeks to make appointments to finish up on going projects and do some new work. If you would like to get on the schedule for one of my visits I encourage you to drop me an email, svarnertattoos@gmail.com, and let me know what you're looking to have me adorn your body with.
I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember—art has always been in my blood. But as I grew up, I realized the traditional paths of art just didn’t speak to me. I wanted something raw, something real… something different.
In the late ‘80s, I found it: tattooing. It was bold, alive, and completely outside the lines—and I was hooked. In 1991, I crossed paths with the mentor who would guide me into the world of professional tattooing. By 1992, I was all in. Three decades later, I’m still at it, and I’ve never looked back.
My style? I don’t box myself in. I love working across the spectrum—black and gray, bold color, portraits, pinups, Japanese, fantasy, and more. But what truly drives me is collaboration. Sitting down with a client, swapping stories, and creating a piece of art that means something—that's what it's all about.
Every tattoo is personal. Every piece is permanent. And I treat it with the respect it deserves.
