A Little About Me

​​   I have been drawing and interested in art for as long as I can remember. As I was growing up, I found I was growing less fond of the "normal" styles of artwork. I wanted to do something "different". In the late 80's I found what I was looking for, tattooing. In 1991 I met the gentleman who would teach me how to tattoo professionally. The following year I had embarked on, what has become, my career, and I never looked back.

   I enjoy doing a variety of different styles of tattooing, from black and gray to bold color, portraits, pinups, Japanese, fantasy and many others. I love sitting down with my clients and creating a piece of artwork that they enjoy for the rest of their life.

I am currently splitting time between my new home in Texas and visiting California. Shawn Warcot's Texas Rose Tattoo Commission, in Hamilton, Texas, is now open. We are accepting walk-ins and taking appointments. I will be returning to California, To Empire Tattoo Studio, Riverside, every few months for a couple weeks to make appointments to finish up on going projects and do some new work.
